Now that everything is organized in my studio, I have so many colors to choose from! I made beads for a a few simple pendants, I will make the necklaces tonight, I think.
I should start posting measurements, you are absolutely right. I will do that in the future, thank you for the tip and your comment. It is a lovely blue, there's a little bit of dichroic deep in there that makes it slightly sparkle, too.
My online store should be open by the end of the month. It's ready to go, I just need to make and upload some initial inventory. There's a gallery and more there now, and a newsletter, if you are interested in knowing when the store goes live. It's all here.
Thank you. I sure did. That one is bullseye, 9"x2.5". It's one of my favorites so far. I really admire your work. One day, I'm going to try the torch myself.
No, I have wanted one for some time but don't have the skills or the time to learn them. I like what you have done with yours.
You are lucky to be close to Bullseye. I think I may have to call in an order. None of the locals carry the newer colors. Do you know if they will mail order to individuals?
I'd have to figure where one can buy nice chain. I'm not much of a finished piece maker in terms of knowing whats "quality" and not. Any recommendations?
I think that in this case you should do a nice silver chain. I think Fire Mountain Gems sells chains: http://www.firemountaingems.com/chains.asp but you can find them all over the internet I'm sure.
I absolutely LOVE your work! Amazing! I have 1 1/2 yrs of jewelry making under my belt and visit beadshows, and have never seen anything so clear and exquisite!
I will be signing up for your 'email' for when you shop "opens". =) Also, question... Believe it or not, I am around Phila, PA. and there are not many places that teach lampworking. Would you know of any DVDs or such that would assist in 'self teaching'. I have dabbled in the torch & enamel route, but would love to learn glass.
